Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Warehouse Operations Manager in the daily coordination of warehouse activities.
  • Supervise warehouse activities and staff on the warehouse floor.
  • Allocate tasks to warehouse workers and monitor completion.
  • Coordinate sorting, picking, packing and preparation of orders for dispatch.
  • Check that orders are properly prepared before dispatch.
  • Support receiving, arrangement and movement of goods within the warehouse.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory tracking.
  • Identify and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods and operational issues.
  • Coordinate with couriers and logistics personnel regarding dispatches.
  • Ensure staff follow established warehouse procedures and safety requirements.
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality and productivity.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Assist with resolving customer/order-related operational issues where required.
  • Prepare or contribute to basic daily operational reports.
  • Support the implementation of warehouse SOPs and process improvements.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Warehouse Operations Manager or management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehouse operations, logistics, retail operations or a related role.
  • Previous supervisory experience will be an advantage.
  • Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, especially when handling orders and inventory.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to maintain simple operational records.
  • Reliable, responsible and willing to take a hands-on approach to warehouse operations.
